LIWO FM Zrt. is a facility management group with one of the broadest service portfolios in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition to cleaning, technical operation, and integrated facility management, the Group provides specialised services in security services, landscaping, fit-out, and building engineering.

Headquartered in Hungary, the Group is a major player in the facility management markets of Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Romania. Founded more than 30 years ago, the Hungarian enterprise has grown into an established international group serving corporate clients and public institutions across the region.
Our Story
LIWO began in 1993 with 16 people working from a family house in Galgahévíz. Over more than 30 years, the company developed into the leading facility management provider in Hungary and later expanded across Central and Eastern Europe, serving both domestic and international corporations as well as public institutions.
Its Central and Eastern European expansion accelerated with the acquisition of ISS subsidiaries in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Slovenia. This was followed by the acquisition of INWEMER in Poland, further strengthening the Group’s position in the region.
The acquisition of Bulgaria’s i-Facility EOOD reinforced this growth.
Later, the integration of Italy’s Sagad and Germany’s KÖBERL Group added new industry expertise, Western European experience, and an expanded client portfolio.
In 2026, the parent company adopted the name LIWO FM Zrt. The name LIWO originates from the former slogan: “We are working for a more LIveable WOrld.” The LIWO acronym captures this philosophy, expressing the Group’s commitment to a more liveable environment and sustainable operations.
